Abstract:
This workshop will help you learn methods to boost your learning/studying efficiency. Parents can learn ways to help their sons and daughters. The techniques and tips presented at this workshop can be used in high school as well as college. Learn about the significant studying/homework demands of college. On average, college students need to study 2-3 hours for each 1 hour of classtime. For a 15 unit full course load in college, that is usually 5 courses per semester, 15 hours of classtime per week, and 30 to 45 hours of out-of-class study time per week. And that assumes highly productive study hours. This workshop is open to all Jackson HS students and their parents, teachers, administrators and invited guests.
