World Languages

Last updated June 20, 2005

As of June 2005, the Everett School District schools only offer Spanish, German, and French. There are no Asian language offerings in our district. In the 2006/2007 school year, the College Board will have 3 new official language and culture courses: AP Chinese, AP Japanese, and AP Russian. In 2004, we asked Everett School District administrators to please start offering beginning Asian language courses (e.g. Japanese 101 to start with) and then work up to the AP level courses. Hopefully, in the next few years, one or more Asian languages courses will be offered in our district.

In the mean time current students need alternatives. This page serves as a resource for students and parents on possible options.
