1) Update objectives.
2) Update assessment reports as they become available: WASL, UW GPA
drop for 1st year students, SAT I, SAT II, AP Exam participation rates
and pass rates.
3) Update the calendar of events.
4) Publicize important UW events such as: UW Math Day, UW World
Languages Day, Engineering Open House, Health Sciences Open House,
School of Art Open House.
5) Conduct membership drive.
6) Work with the district on developing a summer reading program for
all students in all grades.
7) Find alternatives for AP courses and other courses such as Japanese
and Chinese
that are not offered by the school: APEX Learning and VSEN.
8) Offer to speak at Everett HS PTSA, Cascade HS PTSA, Heatherwood PTA,
Gateway PTA.
9) Build relationship with Archbishop Murphy. Share college information.
10) Expand participation in the FIRST Robotics Competition.
11) Promote the College Board's MyRoad.com (Career info)
12) Promote AVID at the middle schools and high schools.
13) Plan and implement a Saving for College Info Night.
14) Plan and implement a Study Skills Workshop.
Continuing Work
1) Gather and post advanced placement options for
students and their families.
2) Publish monthly newsletter.
3) Maintain ties to Inglemoor High School for an International
Baccalaureate Program option for students.
4) Join and participate in the local PTAs/PTSAs.
