At the NACAC (National Association for College Admission Counseling) link above, you can find additional links to learn about each college represented at the fair.
We agree with the authors of the Seattle Times College Guide:
"You'd be smart to do a little homework before you show up. Check out some college guides, see what colleges interest you, then make a beeline for the booths of those colleges. And don't be shy about asking what you really want to ask — whether it's finding out about the hurdles faced by Americans attending overseas schools such as St. Andrews or about the Ultimate Frisbee craze at Carleton."

=============================
I personally really like the way that Shorewood has done their schedule. It allows for plenty of time to finish your homework during the week and the 100-minute class periods allow for more one on one time with the teachers. The 100-minute classes during science or math are especially nice because it allows for longer more in-depth labs in science and more in class time to work on math concepts to make sure there is an understanding.
Our Star time is also very helpful. It is a time where students can pick where they are going and can go and make up tests or get help on the homework that they don't understand. Students then have the 25 minutes to do what he or she please and get the individual attention otherwise not available to them.
It is also really nice to get out early on the Mondays because we have just had 6 classes and a lot more homework piled on us and it gives the opportunity to catch up. Mondays are also the hardest day coming off a weekend and it is nice to have that shortened day to adjust again.
